VISITA BILINGüE AL MUSEO INTERACTIVO DE LA MÚSICA EN MÁLAGA (MIMMA)
El pasado viernes 12 de febrero los alumnos de 1º ESO hicieron una visita en inglés al MIMMA (Museo Interactivo de la Música Málaga). La excursión fue organizada por el departamento del bilingüismo del centro con ayuda del departamento de música.
En la visita al MIMMA los alumnos fueron acompañados en todo momento por un educador especializado en música. La metodología fue basada en la participación activa de los alumnos/as mediante el dialogo y tocando instrumentos musicales.
La visita consistía en dos partes. En primer lugar tuvieron un taller donde le presentaron distintos instrumentos de África, Asia, Oceanía y América así como la cítara, el tiktiri, la sanza, el dambau, la gopichand, entre otros. Les explicaron sus características y les dejaron experimentar tocando dichos instrumentos.
Luego pasaron a la sala de exposiciones donde una completa colección de más de 400 instrumentos de todas partes del mundo les permitió conocer diferentes culturas y épocas musicales existentes en el mundo a través de su música.
Así pues, los alumnos disfrutaron de un gran día aprendiendo a través de la música y del inglés.
Last Friday on the 12th of February the students of first year of ESO went to the Museum of Music MIMMA (Museo Interactivo de la Música Málaga) for a visit in English. The field trip was organized by the bilingual department with help from the department of music.
During the visit to MIMMA the students were accompanied by a specialized teaching musician at all time. The methodology was based on participation of the students through dialogue and the playing of musical instruments.
The visit consisted of two parts. On the first part they had a practical class where they were shown a variety of instruments from Africa, Asia, Oceania and America such as “tiktiri”, “cítara”, “sanza”, “dambau”, “gopichand” among others. They were explained the characteristics and they were able to try playing these instruments.
Later they went to the exposition room where there was a complete collection of more than 400 instruments from all over the world which allowed them to learn about different cultures and different musical periods in the world through its own music.
All in all, the students enjoyed a great day learning through music and English.
